I was also sick twice the past week. First, it was a urinary tract/bladder infection - which is common in first-time lady honeymooners...I was quite prepared for the possibility of it - but definitely not the pain and bleeding. Anyway, it turned out to be a hilarious experience. The antibiotics did its job well. Second: two days after we returned from Pangkor Laut Resort, I was down with acute appendicitis. Thankfully, it wasn't too critical (the pain was really bad though) - I was under observation for half-a-day to see if I'd start throwing up my food. Thankfully, God worked through the prayers of my close friends, and the inflammation subsided (much to my relief - because I was terrified at the idea of surgery) - I did not throw up. No, not even once! That same night, Ben and I even went for a movie at Queensbay Mall and I ate Kitkat chocolate. *Sheepish smile* The pain subsided the next day... and today, I am well. Praise God! My appetite is back, full strength as well.
My bro-in-law, James, blew out his birthday candle (yeah, we didn't know what happened to the candles - or if the cake shop had given us any in the first place, so my MIL used one of her fake apples as a candle... We set fire to the stalk!) yesterday night. We also had a family dinner at Dragon-I on Saturday to celebrate his special day. (High index of suspicion - something I ate caused the inflamed appendix!) Hope he gets a better celebration after his exams are over (poor guy, swotting hard over his studies now...hmmm). All the best, James!
OK... that's my update for now. (Sorry I've been M.I.A for some time now...) Will go back to cooking dinner for Ben and me.

acute appendicitis...i've always thought that the only way to cure/fix that is via surgery... praise God for His healing :)
(you know from young, my parents always remind us not to jump/run after eating coz it can cause appendicitis! any idea if that's true? hehe..)
