Another assignment completed... 14000 less words to come up with

Give me FIVE!!! I am so overjoyed that I am typing this while sitting in Starbucks, having a celebration scone and mocha frap for tea. After more than a week of laboring on this particular assignment, it isn't too much to reward myself so extravagantly, is it? :P

Well of course, I hope that I'm not just happy because I've "gotten rid" of something on my to-do-list - but because of the great and wonderful things that I have learned from doing the assignment.

As a care group initiative and having received permission from our senior pastor, I will begin conducting a small group for God-seekers - those who are new to the faith or who are interested to know about Jesus. The first session is on this Saturday morning. The discipleship material I will be going through with them for at least 3 months covers every thing any Christian should have at his/her foundation. I will start with 2 attendees - which is a good thing (that the numbers are few), because I haven't done this in ages. Hehe. Please keep me and the group in prayer! May I, in my heart revere Christ as Lord... being always prepared to give an answer to everyone who asks me to give the reason for the hope that I have - with gentleness and respect. (1 Peter 3:15)

That aside, I look forward to having lunch with a wonderful friend, Ji, tomorrow - who's back in Penang for a short holiday.
