Living life is about celebrating the choices we have made...

Living life is about celebrating the choices we have made. I know it sounds rather over-the-top and extravagant when I say this, but life is made up of choices. Even what we eat, wear, say... where we are working, where we are, what we do, etc - these are some of the consequences of the choices we make. You must be thinking, "What then about the bad choices?" Well, that is also part of life. We have to try our best not to make them - but when we do, we have to find a way to make do, learn from our mistakes, make the best out of them... and still find ways to celebrate the beautiful things that mercifully come out of such consequences. Only then can we live life. Of course, I would be over-simplifying things if I did not include God in the picture. ONLY He can give us the discernment to make the right choices, as well as make all things work together for the best - for those who have put their trust in Him and according to the power of the Holy Spirit that is in work within us. (Rom 8:28) More importantly, He has given us a hope that does not fade or perish - in the death and resurrection of Christ... The hope of eternal life for those who have merely chosen to believe in Jesus and surrender to His Lordship.... and therefore, the hope of an everlasting celebration where there will be no more pain, no more grief, no more sin, no more bad choices and no more separation from God Himself.

Are you living life today?
