Got some of my worship-leading prep work (for Keng Kar's and Khai Ting's wedding) done... not a lot; but at least it's better than nothing. God has been merciful to me.
Outside in the dark, the rain beats upon our tympanic rooftops effortlessly. The clouds they've fallen from must be grey and thick, but no one knows what they really look like. If only one can see beyond the enshrouding veil of darkness and catch a glimpse of the silver lining of just one cloud - the homeless might sleep with a little more hope, the beggars of the city with a little more comfort. But tonight, hearts will still beat with fearful uncertainty of what tomorrow brings. What if one chooses to acknowledge that at least one silver lining exists somewhere up there... what if one chooses to see the light in the darkness with the eyes of his heart. Would that make a difference?
