Chasing time

Personally, I felt like the month of December sailed past a little too slowly. I was practically cruising.

But just when I want time to slow down a little bit... it starts accelerating like nobody's business. Hmm.

In no time, I will be again climbing up that steep MBTS slope every morning just to be a good student and attend classes. No more avoiding the usual Greenlane morning and afternoon traffic jams - well at least till we move away from Greenlane. Gotta tidy up my closet too, so that I can easily pick clothes to wear to school - even with my eyes closed (literally). Also, re-train myself to get ready for school in 10-15 minutes. I did set my own record this year. Proud of it, haha! :P (Excuses of your typical sleepy-head who finds it so difficult to get out of bed every morning... regardless of how much sleep I've gotten the previous night.) Glad and thankful that we are moving so close to school next year. In fact it's just a 5 minutes drive away. (The only minus - the hubby would have to drive a much longer distance to his work place.) Perhaps the fresh sea-side air will help me get out of bed with more joy in the mornings, pray be. O God, let it be so!

Oh... and say hello to assignments - with open arms. One of my New Year "resolutions" (if I'm allowed to make them) would be to not procrastinate doing assignments. It's going to be a little different being a student while I'm married - so I've got to get them out of my way as soon as possible, to make time for home-making duties and my hubs.

I'm warming up to 2012 though. If I look past the temporary pitfalls and lows, there are so many things to thank God for in 2011 - friendships, family, mentors, marriage, provisions, God's grace and mercy, ministry highs, etc. But more than that, I would like to thank God for the great things He has in store for us, as we hope in Him... in the year ahead.

Let me continue to live a life of childlike faith. One that pleases God.

Oh...and I dug out some old pic taken in 2009 too! :D
