Earthquake Wednesday

My headache hasn't ceased (from yesterday) yet.

It was a public holiday, but since I still had classes (and was not available to accompany Ben), my husband decided that he'd spend his holiday in the office, working too.

Went to school with nausea... and drove back home after classes with a splitting headache, aggravated by the glaring sunlight streaming into my car. Had some cereal with soy milk for lunch, downed Panadol - and then collapsed into bed. Got up after a nap, still with that same headache. Worked on the songs for Sunday's worship service... and suddenly, I thought I felt my chair rocking (or shaking). It continued for a while - and just when I was beginning to get worried that I could be hallucinating from that splitting headache, I caught sight of the water sloshing around in my jugs... and I realized that an EARTHQUAKE was going on. Since the tremors weren't too violent, I thought I'd continue with my work (was too lazy to get dressed to go out too). Little did I know that many of the inhabitants of my block had evacuated the building and congregated downstairs. When Ben came home much later, there were still many people downstairs. Hmm.

I was possibly one of the few jokers who thought that work was more important. Hero.*Pats own back* Hehe. Thinking about it now, I must have been very "blur" not to have cared more about my own safety. But honestly, shouldn't we be more concerned about the people of Acheh?

Anyway, my work on the songs for this Sunday is done. Praise God. Now to work on my theology assignments.
