Today...

Just confirmed our trip back to Subang Jaya next weekend. I AM ECSTATIC. It will be wonderful to see my side of the family again.

I know I am one of those girls who rarely gets homesick - unless I am very ill and am craving for home-made porridge. Extremely rare nowadays, considering my mother-in-law is such an amazing mom. My late-mom used to say that I have "wandering feet"... because when I was a kid, I used to always wish that I could leave home to see the world. I was never happier than when I was on any journey to somewhere far away from home. I am weird that way. Perhaps, it's an in-built characteristic to prepare me for missions. I pretty much live life to the fullest wherever God takes me, haha. (It's been 10 years since I left home, btw.) I call wherever I go "home". For me, "home" is where beloved people are. Whether I like it there or not (regarding its geographical location/shopping amenities/etc), it is still "home". Nevertheless, a trip home-home to see my loved ones is always a treat. Thank God... that both Ben and I can drive back together this round.

ALSO... two of my seminary-mates got married today. Congrats, Kevin and Pam!
