Pre-weekend

Happy Friday, folks!!! :)

I have never felt this glad that classes are over. It isn't because our lecturer didn't do a good job. Rather, I have been feeling sick off and on this week - thanks to those sprained arches of my feet. First, getting around on my feet, like I said, have been excruciatingly painful. Second, the medication I took for the pain and all often made me drowsy and sometimes nauseous. Third, fighting the urge to drop into deep slumber throughout my classes has been very exhausting. My facial skin doesn't look too good after all the stress!

Well, well...thank God, that those meds worked - and the pain in my feet is finally, almost completely gone! Lesson learnt ~ stretching the soles of my feet before exercise is a good practice.

I will have a good rest this weekend, I promise. Need to spend some time thinking of how to teach the beginner I received as a piano student this week too. We had a trial session on Thursday. The little girl was very shy at first - but later warmed up to me. When her mom asked her later if she wanted to learn piano from me, she nodded shyly. Her smile was priceless. It was one of those moments during this week that I felt very blessed.

Gonna go out for dinner and then attend worship practice at church.
