A praise report

Today ~ an "accomplishment" that I never thought possible = dissecting a Biblical passage at top speed into different sections so that its structure and therefore, message, are prominent.

Usually, I am as slow as a tortoise (don't know how a tortoise would dissect the passage though); I am not really a fast thinker and I get distracted ~ so I know that God was graciously helping me through His Spirit to meet that deadline.

Why the feat? Last night, Dr. V sent us all an email reminding us that our summary statements for the passage we'd be preaching on in his class this term would be due this evening. Well, to be fair, he did tell us to write our summary statements on Friday. However, the weekend came and my Romans paper took up most of my time. I had forgotten all about my summary statement till yesterday night. Realizing that my Wednesdays are pretty tied up with classes and work, I tried doing the assignment during breaks throughout the day (whilst the adrenaline from sleep-deprivation and nerves raged in my blood).

Praise God, I'm done! Sent in my assignment too. In 15 minutes time, I'll be teaching one class ~ and then, it will be home sweet home to work on my Romans 8 paper again.
