What have I been doing for the past hour?

Folding under-garments. Such a glamorous thing to do. And there is nothing shameful about under-garments. They are absolutely essential in everybody's life. I am pretty sure that homemakers deal with them all the time. Right? Right? :)

Oh... I did the laundry too.

Thanking God for some progress in my sermon. While I was working on just the introduction, God must have given me some beautiful realisations. First, as light makes the shadows beautiful, Jesus, Light of the World, makes our shadows (and therefore our trials) beautiful. Second, he who dwells in the shelter of the Most High will rest in the Shadow of the Almighty (cf. Ps 91:1) and since, the Almighty is LIGHT Himself, this means that in the mighty Shadow, there will never be any darkness. We rest in light. We rest in joy and peace despite our trials. We rest in God's love - and therefore, there is faith and hope. This hope is the essence of eternal life. Let there be light, God!

I do hope to get my sermon completed before I leave for Singapore on Wednesday. I also hope that it would be relevant to my listeners. When am I preaching? The 9th of April. Please keep me in prayer.

Missing my hubby, who is away on a silent retreat this weekend. He must have been very silent. I anticipate a earful when he is back ~ especially on how I should sleep earlier. :P
