After that long trip which had sucked the marrow out of my sanity (the number of transits and delays did the trick), I finally arrived at the place which I had been looking forward to for a while.
Austin, Texas.
Hubby picked me up from the airport with a big grin on his face, while I shivered in the cold of the night and struggled to orientate myself in time and space. (Tried driving on the right side of the road today ~ back home from church. It was quite frightening, really.) Ben's flat was spick and span till I came. As expected. I have kinda bombed it with the presence of me and my entourage of bare necessities - especially the lotions and creams.
But I sincerely believe that Ben is happy, despite having to share his space with another human being. I am after all, the VVIP. *coughs*
Sorry, couldn't resist being corny there.
I am loving it here, even though I have no idea how I am going to drive to town tomorrow. Also thankful that I am not one who gets jetlagged.

ehh, the driving won't take long to get used to. You'll be driving fine soon enough. Did you move there? This is awesome!
Haha... the driving is traumatising so far. I didn't move to Texas... will be here for just 3 weeks.
