Back from a good roadtrip to Corpus Christi and San Antonio

One of those sunburning hols for sure ~ with the Texan summer getting on.

I don't know how long it would take for those tan-lines to fade away. I still want to be the fairest of them all. *Moan* Haha. Tsk tsk tsk.

Oh well. Despite the tan-lines, it was definitely one of the fun-est vacations with my beloved hubby. Our rented car was a blessing ~ we packed loads of junk in and casually drove south. Since Ben's GPS wasn't too reliable (it kept leading us onto small village roads at first), I had to help navigate with the help of Google-Map. And victory of victories, I finally got the hang of Google-mapping. Yaay! In fact, I like it.

Corpus Christi was about 4 hours away from Austin. We spent a day and night there before visiting San Antonio on the second day (on our way back to Austin). Had the opportunity to hop on and off Padre Island too ~ and behold the great Gulf of Mexico with our own eyes.

A God-blessed trip. It felt like a honeymoon within a honeymoon. :)
