What an exhausting weekend. I am exhausted physically, emotionally, mentally, etc. To think that I have to rush for a deadline this week, pack for the States and clean up the house. Stressful stuff.
I am too tired to talk about the dramatic General Election ~ and so I won't. God be praised for what has happened, even though many of us probably feel like how the disciples felt when Jesus, the One whom the Jews had hoped to lead a new earthly kingdom, was crucified right before their eyes. That utter disappointment, that desperation, that sense of being abandoned by God, that hopelessness, that brokenness etc. However, as Jesus has risen indeed ~ my prayer is that God would yet bring about justice and redemption for our nation. His ways are higher than ours. His thoughts are higher than ours. He makes all things beautiful in His time. And so, I will leave aside my distresses and turn to Him for light. I am thankful that good things came out of the GE13 though ~ one of them being many of my fellow Malaysians becoming so politically informed, united against corruption and patriotic. There are some things we can still celebrate.
God is yet sovereign. Let us trust in Him with all our hearts and lean not on our own understanding. He is Lord. He will make our paths straight. O God, at the same time, break our hearts for the things that break Yours.
Thankful for the car-ride back to KL. Pastor Tan Peng was an awesome driver, haha. I had awesome travel companions too. (The moment I got into the car with the rest, I already felt like I was back in KL! Coz everybody was speaking animatedly in Cantonese and telling Cantonese jokes, whatever they were, haha.) And no problems making my way from KL to Selangor.
Thank You, God. I love You.

Great attitude and insight on the GE13. It truly is a historical moment for Malaysia. Only pray that it will remain stable after this.
