The most adorable happenings ~ all in a day's work

Today, P's mom made hot (steamed) buns with loads of red bean filling inside...

Incidentally, P learned "Hot Cross Buns" on the piano today ~ so she had hot buns after playing the short piece. No "cross" but still, hot buns. J (her guest) joined our class and so he also had hot buns for tea. He was so nice to peel off the paper underneath the bun for me. Such a gentleman.

In Chapel service today, we were asked to count our recent blessings and thank God. Subsequently, you could walk up to the stage and give a short sharing if you wanted to. I truly appreciated the testimonies ~ but I did not have the time to count my own blessings (partly because I was too fascinated). Well then, one of the many things that I am glad and thankful for today are the heartwarming company of P and J.

Children ~ while I did not have the opportunity to meet our child in person, I thank God that He has comforted me by bringing the paths of many other children to cross mine. I thank God for the laughter they bring, the joy they avail me and the shadows they make beautiful. :')
