Bruncheon date with a dear friend

Jo
Totally made my day, it did. We met at Gusto Cafe, ate and chatted for over an hour. I don't think our conversation ended with the meal - there were just too many things to talk about and laugh over. We were still yakking away while walking to our cars. What a delightful date!

I thank God today for the amazing friends He has given me - near and far. Friends who take the robot out of me. Friends who bring out the clown in me. Friends, with whom I don't have to be too embarrassed when I absentmindedly do donkey acts. (Believe me, I am capable of a great many!) Friends who chide me when sorely needed. Friends who share my joys and sorrows. Friends who give and yet, avail me the blessings and pleasure of giving too. Friends who help me to tarry a while in the midst of life's madnesses - and glimpse Heaven. Friends who usher me into the sweet awareness of God - who speaks, counsels, affirms, loves and even brings laughter. Tear-jerking laughter. Belly-aching laughter. Healing rain.

Treasures.
