However, it wasn't a holiday for the kids whom I teach (awww... pity) and so, I did what I said I wouldn't do... i.e. teach on a public holiday. So that the kids would have a little more consistency in the coaching. (Since I my trip to the States, some have become a little too laid-back for my liking. It is partially my fault.) The traffic on my side of the island was maddening. I was so knackered by the time I arrived home that I wasn't in the mood to give my brain a workout.
I must be recuperating from the weekend (and the crazy week prior to the weekend). All those running around, work, ad-hoc, migraine, sun and etc. Time is needed to recuperate. I shall be gracious to myself.
We had toast for dinner. I was so grateful for the simplicity of it all. Ben is amazing ~ he changed the sheets, did the laundry and ironed clothes. :)
Anyway... here goes yet another week.
I thought that I would be attending lectures this week because I had the wrong course and dates written down in my schedule. The hilarious thing? I've been looking at my schedule for many weeks; nothing struck me as odd and thus, I neglected to investigate. Yesterday, I suddenly found it queer that I had signed up for such a course (very, very unlike me). Checked with the seminary - and found out that I had indeed signed up for a different course during pre-registration, and that the course only commences next week. *Hits forehead with palm*
Thank God, I discovered my mistake just in time! I can only imagine how bewildered I would be in class tomorrow if I hadn't...
This has got to be the weirdest STCM term ever. I don't even know where to start. I haven't taken as many courses as some people I know, but I am exhausted!
