5 Azam

Final year in high-school. And my 16-year-old self somewhere in the classroom. You could try to spot me. Hint: I would have to be pale and nerdy-looking.

~ Courtesy of a former classmate who tagged me in this (on Facebook) today.

This brings back loads of memories of my final years in my hometown. There must have been bad memories - and I can think of a few which qualify as blatantly-bad memories. However, the funny thing is that the details and sting of those have faded away quite a bit, and all that I can remember is how good God has been to me all throughout. His grace has been sufficient.

I pray that many, many years from today, I would look back at today's trials with the same kind of amusement. I would love to try my hardest to recall "bad memories" and realise that God has, by His grace and in His time, made all things beautiful.

I don't think anything's changed when it comes to school in M'sia. It looks the same as when I was in high school.....
