It is finished

Collected my official graduation papers from the seminary earlier this week.

Cert and academic transcripts

Sophie Karin, whose presence in my belly was constant encouragement during my final year of seminary, turned two months old on the same day.

She's probably heard my graduation sermon (the different versions of it too) being preached more times than any other human being on planet Earth - including her long-suffering dad.

Awww...

Also, I wonder what she thought of my academic papers. I used to read out loud while I worded and re-worded them.

Sophie's second month birthday also marks the end of my maternity leave. (I could have extended it if I wanted - but I was getting a little restless.) I got roped back into the missions project of which I was a team member during my third trimester of pregnancy. It has been a good break from illustrating Bible stories - and I look forward to completing my work in the upcoming few months, even as I take things easy and prioritise spending time with Sophie.
