Sophie's diaries: 4 months old

The end of Sophie's 4th month was marked by two vaccinations (to which she did not have adverse reactions, thankfully), her new-found ability to roll back into a supine position from tummy down and her first appearance at my office in the seminary.

The HCD staff and those in the neighbouring offices threw Dr. Rosalind (my boss) a surprise gathering in our office for her birthday on Wednesday. The last time all of us congregated there, it was for Sophie's baby shower (during my final month of pregnancy). It was so good to meet up with everybody again - and to bring Sophie along with me this time. Dr. R wasn't expecting anything of course, so she was very happy to have Sophie appear in the office along with the other guests.
The men present: Dr. Sunny, Dr. L and Pst. Khoo

The ladies present, from left to right: Mrs. L, Wei Wenn, Sophie, Dr. R and I.
Trying to pull a stunt when mummy's not looking - I'm going to be even busier watching her from now onwards. She has already had her first accident in the home the other day - rolled off her mattress and knocked her head on the floor.
Syok sendiri. Love you, baby girl!
Her first chair - a bumbo seat

Things to be grateful for:

1. Sophie's excellent progress in her developmental milestones

2. My in-laws' love and care for us when we stay with them during the weekends

3. Good friends - who cheer me up on tough days, whether they know it or not

4. God's financial provisions for our family in the most gracious ways (including the honorarium that I received for my involvement in the missions project which I am currently a part of)

5. A wonderful husband who always puts the family first regardless of how crazy things can get at his workplace
