Celebrating the little kisses

It is always wonderful to spend time with our almost-toddler princess.

Recently, she mastered the new skill of planting wet kisses on our cheeks.

I don't know how she picked that up. All I remember is Ben showing her the how-to (by kissing my cheek) some time ago. She then practised it on Duckie. She would squeeze the stuffed animal with the most affectionate hug she could possibly accomplish and smooch him loudly till he complained. Mmmmmmmmuahhhhhhh....

With Duckie
I am kidding about Duckie complaining. Savoured all the attention, he did.

We were walking in the mall a week ago, when Ben said, "Sophie, kiss daddy..." She bent forward to touch his cheek with her lips. We were so thrilled. Of course, mommy wanted a kiss too - and she obliged.

Needless to say, we couldn't bring ourselves to wipe off the drool that came with her kisses.

Now, we are just waiting for her to smooch us as loudly as she smooched Duckie. LOL.
