Bersih 4.0 weekend over

No, I didn't participate in the rally.

Perhaps, I might have, if I didn't have a toddler in tow. But nah. I am not so adventurous and I am terribly afraid of crowds.

Well then, I just followed the news online and felt proud of those who made it. Local and abroad. Malaysians, who earnestly desire a good change. Old as well as the young, all in yellow.

They have truly inspired me to be more diligent in praying for my country. And doing my bit for my community and city, whatever I am able to do. God's call. I think, if everybody does his or her part during the ordinary days and is committed to do all things with integrity, neighbourly love, compassion, passion, and excellence, we will keep moving forward. I pray that our children might know a better Malaysia. Especially those of the marginalised; even those of the migrants and refugees.

Heard some really cynical remarks with regard to the event and was discouraged some. But I've recovered from the heartache now.
