#Throwback

Sometime around this time of the month, 12 years ago, I arrived in Dublin as a student. It was autumn.

Wherever I am in life now, I thank God that my time in Dublin was a beautiful dream that He allowed me to live even for a short while (despite all the difficulties we were in). The years I spent there were not many. However, they were tremendously pivotal and life-changing ones, especially with regard to my attitude toward music, God, and people.

As sickly sentimental as it sounds, I am missing you much, Dublin.

I would love to go back.

Maybe one day you could introduce Dublin to me? Looks like I would be visiting it yearly now, at least for next few years, but will usually be Christmas season. I was there last year, it reminds me of Scotland a lot. Is there anything specifically that makes you love Dublin? Or is it just like me that I missed Dundee not because it is a great city but due to sentimental reasons. Anything specifically that I should check out when I am there? Thanks

Wow, sure. I think for me, it's for sentimental reasons mostly - but Dublin is actually a great city to be in. The people are friendly, it has a rich history, and it is pretty easy to get around, given the efficiency of Dublin buses and trains. I think I'm not the best person to ask about tourist spots - depends on what you are looking for - but as for me, I especially enjoyed hanging out at Dun Laoghaire and Bray. We would go to the neighbouring towns and cities for sightseeing too. The countryside of Ireland gives magnificent views.
