28. I like this number, even though I'm not really into the numerology stuff.
My birthday was mostly spent delving deep into Galatians 4:1-11 (because that's the passage I chose to preach on in March for Course NT109 - and Dr. Lawson wants us to get our Interpretation drafts in soon). The perfectionist in me, as usual, did not allow me to get too much done - but since it's only the first day I've worked on Gal 4:1-11, I granted myself a little more room to let those OCD-ish juices flow. Today (Wednesday), I promise that I will try my best to be more efficient and effective. Yesterday came to a nice end with dinner at Bee Won - a Korean restaurant, the hubby's treat. However, the birthday celebrations have not stopped, thanks to my awesome friends - seminarians and non-seminarians - who will be having meals with me in the week ahead. While I dread weight-gain from all the eating (don't mind my paranoia; I am working on being sensible), I am indeed grateful for friendship and am certainly looking forward to all the post-CNY catching up!
In 90 minutes time or so, I will be playing piano for Wed chapel worship. Lemme see if I can have a little progress on my Biblical Interpretation. God help me.
