Second blessed day in Singapore.
Morning and afternoon were spent alone. I took the MRT to Somerset (a favorite place of mine, strangely) and spent a good many hours there - eating lunch, doing QT, shopping, walking, etc. It was good to spend some time journalling and reflecting on life today. Reorganized and rescheduled my life a little... and set myself a few goals to meet when I return to my Penang life. May God help me to discipline myself to lead a disciplined lifestyle once again. Somehow I have managed to let myself "loose" in the past year. Sigh. It works for some people - living life flexibly. But for me, I just get very disorientated when I don't keep being "rigid" about certain things/habits. So I guess it's also back to keeping daily schedules like I used to - so that I use every bit of time wisely (of course, with planned resting times) and not let it slip by me for nothing.
AND yups, I did get lost on my way from Ji's place to the Buono Vista MRT in the morning (as predicted). It rained while I was at it - thank God for those covered walkways to prevent me from arriving at the MRT station wet from top to toe. It sometimes takes some wrong roads to make us learn the right road, doesn't it?
I'm sure I'll be fine walking to the MRT station tomorrow. Otherwise, I'll do what Sze Hwa suggested today. Take the Bus 92 from the foot of our block to the MRT station, which is just 2 stops away. Haha.
Had a good time of fellowship and dinner with Ji when she returned from work. We had Western Food at that massive hawker center 5 minutes away from her block. Good and cheap Western Food. On the way back, we stopped at a bakery for some breakfast goods. My evening adjourned with a chat with Ji, a short chat with my hubby online... and hopefully a good night's rest.
