1st Wedding Anniversary

A year has passed since I got married to this wonderful man...
I must say that I'm pretty contented. Yeah, like many other couples do... we have our petty fights, our random disagreements, our downs and challenges as well as ups... but hey, a journey's got to have its mountains and valleys to be interesting, right? May our marriage be a tapestry of light interwoven with the contrasting dark... a story of God's grace, mercy and love.
The sea was pretty calm that weekend...
...and we were contemplating on our house renovation challenges...
In a celebratory mood, nevertheless...
Ben brought me to the elegant and luxurious Suffolk House for our 1st wedding anniversary... It was like being transported back to the land where I kinda left my heart... UK

It was an awesome dinner... the classical music in the background was absolutely fantabulous. Give me classical music over a jazz band anytime ~ even though I absolutely love jazz...
Blessed anniversary, dear!
I love my man. I love the romantic fact that he married me on our 3rd couple's anniversary... and yet, I know that it is nothing short of the grace of God that it happened that way... because we are way too imperfect. Our relationship/courtship was humanly imperfect. God's timing must have been for a reason. Our "garden" assignment and mission as man and wife somehow began on the 14th of May 2011. May we not miss out on the purposes of God, for whom we exist and live. Yet unfathomable purposes... but as we undergo the hardships of marriage (as well as the beautiful parts), my prayer is that we will learn, we will savour... and we will fully embrace those purposes of God.

God in the center. Let it be our marriage reason and mission.
