Well, mother-in-law fell ill ~ so my hubby is doing all the pampering instead. I think he'd make such a good "confinement lady" ~ he cooks well, cleans well and comforts well. :)
The D&C operation (to remove the miscarried fetus from my womb) went well. Ben took one day's leave from work to accompany me through it all. Was also very glad for Wee Lyn's surprise visit ~ just before I was wheeled away to the operation theater.
I came down with excruciatingly painful cramps later in the day, due to the womb contractions ~ and had to be rushed to the Emergency Department of Tanjung Medical Center at 10+ pm. They gave me a butt jab. After writhing and rolling around in pain for a little while more (it was probably more dramatic than I can describe with words) --- I grew drowsy and as the painkillers kicked in, the cramps became less intense. Subsequently, the hubby brought me home --- and has been monitoring my condition throughout the night, giving me hot drinks and feeding me with Panadol Menstrual (which I have never eaten prior to this).
Thanking God that it's the weekend (so that both Ben and I don't need to work) - and that I'm better today. Indeed He is a good and merciful God ~ in the hindsight, I realized that He has fully provided for us throughout the pregnancy, even though the baby did not make it to full-term. I pray that His purposes for this pregnancy would be fulfilled and that He would be glorified through my pain. To those who prayed and sent me such loving, encouraging texts/emails --- thank you! :)

Thanks Yi Lei ~ somehow remembering that you went through it so bravely gives me courage, faith and hope too. Indeed God makes all things work together for good. <3 <3 <3
God bless us in His own way. You are a brave girl too. I know emotionally..it won't be easy.one day at a time. As long as we have faith, we will be able to live today and have no fear of tomorrow. :) ♥ rest well dear..*HUGS*
Mine was done on Dec 10, 2012. It was the reason why I started writing my blog because I had to write to sort things out and to let out a lot of anger and pain. But through it all, I found grace and healing in an immensely loving and good God. I'm so sorry for your loss.
Wow...so we miscarriaged at around the same time :) Sorry to hear of your loss too. May God be forevermore our joy and strength through the bereavement.
