Tuesday's highlights

Lunched with Rachel at Via Pre Tavern on the Harbour, which is located at Weld Quay. Food was superb ~ the best carbonara I have had in a long while. They don't use cream, but egg yolk ~ so I didn't have issues with lactose intolerance after my meal. They also served us a basket of assorted home-made bread before our meal ~ with olive oil and vinegar for dips. Rach and I did an early Christmas gift exchange (unplanned) ~ and this is what she got me:
An artsy calendar organizer and a pair of Weez-Zakka handmade rose ear-rings :)
The princess and the cookies
Moi and my messy hair
Had the little girl (who gave me the rabbit keychain yesterday) come to FMA for a replacement class today ~ and she turned up with a most adorable hand-made "Get Well Soon" card, stamped with her trademark Hello Kitty. In fact, there were Hello Kitty stamps all over the card, as well as hearts and smileys! Very original and very sweet. She made me open the card in front of her, just to show me her offerings (the cat-faces). Haha. I feel so loved! :D Such sweet kids, with whom God has graced my life!

Came to the end of Chris Wright's book today (the one I mentioned a few posts back). It will take me some time to process what I've read ~ perhaps I might even re-read it. Reading Wright's book has made me realize how much I have under-estimated God's Holy Spirit, as well as what it means for His Spirit to indwell Christ's believers. The hope of our salvation ~ how little I understand it. I wish to appreciate it more; I wish to resist it less.
