Dearest Grace,
At this point of your life, you are very busy and stressed out with assignments. You are writing a tricky paper on the relationship between suffering and glory ~ with special reference to Romans 8:1-39... and the deadline is on the 1st of March. You are wondering if you've got all it takes to be a writer because the writer's block has taken the wind out of your sails. You have got two other papers to write, the deadline of which is also on the 1st of March. On top of all these assignments, you have been trying to juggle between work, classes, extra-curricular activities, ministry and home. You've had bouts of depression and you felt like running away. It has been a difficult time.
However, you just celebrated your 29th birthday over the past few days with the people whom you hold dear to your heart ~ so, I did remind you to please remember such blessings, and be thankful even when you are sleep-deprived, miserable and confused. People love you (even when you feel that nobody does); your hubby loves you (today, he went out in the hot sun just to buy you your favourite Ban Chang Kueh pancake); and your Heavenly Father, who sent His Son to die for your sins, loves you. Even when you make mistakes, God's love for you does not change ~ He is faithful, even when you are not. He does forgive and help you to change. So please do be comforted and have faith.
Lotsa love,
me
