A conversation with a friend today got me thinking...
No, I don't think too much.
Anyway...
How should a married woman (say a young and attractive one) behave in public? Apart from not wearing too-short skirts and stuff.
How should a married woman behave amongst her friends? Amongst strangers? Amongst those of the opposite sex?
I am also wondering if I behave like a married woman. :S ~ There were certainly some interesting incidents over the past two years when people, who didn't think of me as a married woman, discovered the truth (or rather I revealed it to them) and were genuinely shocked. "Huh? You, married?" kind of thing. Which disturbs me a teeny-weeny bit.

well, let's see. In some cultures you would have to be working the fields all day as a married woman. Hmmm, in others, you would need to stick a dot on your forehead. What is a married woman supposed to act like? What do people think a married woman is supposed to be like? Wear long skirts, carry a huge purse, be all prim and proper and never break into a smile? You should ask them what they perceive married women to be like and then tell them to break their way of thinking and start thinking Angelina Jolie. :-)
