My fingers are happy...

...when I seat myself on the piano stool and place them upon shiny keys.

I like to think of it as a worship moment...whereby my fingers give glory and adoration to God, their Creator... and whereby divine inspiration deeply stirs my soul to express surrender by moving happy fingers in inspired ways. O, how my own heart wonders... as the sound of music to it ministers... would God's heart take delight and find rest in the melodies that He inspires? 

Lord, give me the heart to make music that bring joy, glory and honor to You... not to myself.
