Hmmm.
Anyway, the funny thing about Ben's illness though (and I really believe that a miracle did happen by God's grace) - in the evening, his fever cranked up quite some notches even after 1 tab of Panadol 600mg - that I feared that he was having dengue, since the related symptoms were quite dengue-like. In fact, he was really weak. Doing everything in slow motion. Hobbled to our bedroom and sank into a feverish slumber on our bed. I was going to take a shower after my exercise hour, pack him into the car and take him to see the doctor. Before I went into the bathroom, I felt his forehead - it was like Oh-no!-HOT. While I showered, I prayed. After my shower, I went to feel his forehead again (yeah, I'm the paranoid kind of doc). Guess what??? The fever had left him! And so had the gastritis and headache! I didn't even give him anything for gastritis. WOW.
Praise God, who has heard my prayers and healed Ben! @_@ *Stupefied*
We even had a late dinner at Pisa Food Center (in Sg. Ara) after driving Ben's parents home. (They dropped by at our place in the evening.) Of course, the hubs was avoiding fish during dinner. Hehe.
A little more about the miracle.... Just today, I was praying for a confirmation from God regarding a dilemma I have been facing recently. I have to confess that my prayer, while mostly done out of faith, wasn't without a slight tinge of doubt that He was listening to me. Although God didn't give me the confirmation that I asked Him for, somehow the miracle He did served as a powerful testimony of how He has definitely heard all my other prayers too. And as long as it is the right time, He would answer me according to His perfect purposes - perhaps not in the way I thought He would, but in the best way possible.
Yeah, come to think of it - I had another prayer answered today as well. Praise God.
God is sovereign. His ways are love.
